Understanding Lewy Body Dimentias


There will be an Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Support Group: Understanding Lewy Body Dimentias. The event will take place Tuesday, November 11, 6:30-8pm in the Buckley Conference Room at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH. Annual Christmas Bazaar


The Greater Hartford United Church of Christ will be holding their annual Christmas Bazaar on November 8, 9am-2pm. There will be coffee and homemade donuts and for lunch corn chowder, sandwiches and apple crisp. There will be plenty of holiday items along with baked goods, jams and Silent Auction from 9am-1pm. The Greater Hartford United Church of Christ is located on Route 14, Hartford, Vt. and is handicapped accessible.

Holiday Craft Fair


On Saturday, November 15 there will be 3 craft fairs  taking place throughout the day in Windsor, Vt. 25 vendors and lunch available at the American Legion from 9am-3pm. Christmas in the Attic at the Old South Church, on South St. from 9:30am-2pm. There will also be crafts at Mt. Ascutney Hospital on Country Rd. from 8am-3pm.

Firewood Raffle


There will be a Firewood Raffle to benefit St. Anthony Church, in Bethel, Vt. The drawing will be held on November 15, and will consist of 2 cords of seasoned, split 16" firewood. Halloween Costume Party and Concert


There will be a Halloween Costume Party and Concert on Friday, October 31 at 7pm, presented by Sunapee Cove Assisted Living in Georges Mills. This event is free and open to the public. Costumes are optional. The Flames, will be playing popular rock from the '50s and '60s.RSVP by October 30 by calling Ron Andrews at 603-763-0566.

Are you new to Medicare?


There will be two workshops regarding Medicare health coverage on Wednesday, October 29 at 2pm and Wednesday, November 19 at 2pm. The workshops will both take place at the Servicelink Aging and Disability Resource Center, 224 Elm Street, Claremont, NH. Topics to be discussed will be on hospital insurance, medicare insurance, Rx drug coverage, medicare supplement plans, medicare advantage plans, and preventing fraud and abuse. Plainfield Pumpkin People


Between September 27, and October 31 on both Rt 120 and 12A in Plainfield, NH drive through and see the unique seasonal displays of "Pumpkin People". October 4 between 10am-4pm maps will be available at Meriden Deli, Garfields Smokehouse, Edgewater Farm Stand, and Annes Country Store. A great activity for fall family fun!
